Quilter's Blog Hop Party for St. Patrick's Day

Aloha All- A big thank you to Michele from Quilter's Gallery for organizing another Blog Hop Party.  It is always so much fun to meet quilters from all around the world during these hops.  I like reading your comments on my blog and on the other blogs that are participating in the hop.

I live out in the middle of the ocean on the Big Island of Hawaii.  So my give away is a Hawaiian Applique Kit for a pillow.  I will have the applique all cut out for you so can get a head start.  The designs that you can choose from are Pineapple, shown below, Hibiscus Honu (Turtle), Breadfruit, Bird of Paradise, Hibiscus and Angel's Trumpet.  If you want to see what the design looks like please visit my website and look under Hawaiian Applique Patterns.  While on my website if you see other patterns you like and sign up for my newsletter you will have a chance to get a free pattern of your choice.  I have a drawing every month for those new newsletter sign ups.  Leave a comment on my blog and tell me which kit you would like to win and a little bit about yourself if you would like.  We all like to hear about other quilting enthusiasts.  The hop runs through March 23rd and which time I will annouce the lucky winner.

Thank you for hopping.   Now return to Quilter's Gallery so that you can continue on.

  15. I love the Angel's Trumpet Pattern. I also signed up as a new follower. If I win your monthly give-a-way, I would love the Hope Blooms pattern. I lost my DIL to breast cancer several years ago. I frequently participate in various cancer fundraisers. I am a 2nd generation, new quilter. I only quilt by hand (at the moment) and have yet to complete a project. I am close and hope to have one done soon.

  16. Your patterns remind me of my friend who went to Hawaii for a visit. She brought back a Hawaiian quilt book for me. I really treasure that book because not too long after her trip she passed away from cancer. Your patterns are beautiful. I really love Melia Beauty.

  19. I love the #BBD4-8. Hibiscus Honu. I've just been blessed with my first grandchild, and his nursery is decorated with "under the sea" in mind. This would be perfect for his room. Thanks for the chance to win, and a peek at Hawaii (a long, long way from Canada!)

  21. I am a new follower and love your stuff! How beautiful! But I guess you have inspiration surrounding you there. I went to Maui about 15 years ago and it was breathtaking. I live in Texas so we have seriously hot summers. The weather there is so perfect. Even the rain was only a nice mist! Here when it pours you cant see the house across the street!

I would love the Pineapple Hawaiian. It would look perfect on my bed! I am new to quilting. Only started sewing 9 months ago. I am disabled and after no longer able to work I was at such a loss of what to do with myself. I needed to regain my pride and self worth. I started sewing, and immediately fell in love with quilting. I am self taught by reading blogs and anything I can find on the internet. I am so thankful to those that put the time into posting tutorials for us newbies I am passing all I find along on my own blog so others like me can get help too!

Great to have found your site and look forward to seeing more of your posts!
